To book a session with Natalie Jeans Photography, simply fill out the contact form on the website. I will respond within 24 hours (Mon-Fri) to confirm availability and finalize your booking.
A 30 minute consultation is required for the following portraits: Wedding, Engagement, Events & Group Headshots
Payment is required to book your session. Full payment is required for all packages under $200. Packages $200 or more require a 50% deposit to book.
No worries, I pose all of my clients! I ensure they are comfortable and show them exactly what to do. As a former pageant girl (yeah, yeah, yeah, I know...) I spent years perfecting angles and poses, literally from head to toe. There is nothing like seeing a beautiful picture and noticing the persons hands or feet are awkwardly positioned. I pay attention to all of those details. My clients will tell you that I obsess over making sure hands/fingers and feet are perfect. Oh and don't worry, I promise not to put you in any pageant poses, unless you are doing a pageant photoshoot.
All clients will have the option of selecting more images at an additional cost that ranges from $10-$25, depending on the session. I will include this information when I send you the link to your proofs.
Yes! Prints are included in a few of the packages, but not all. Please notify me during your consultation, if you are interested in adding this service, so printing options can be discussed and applied to final cost.
If you need to reschedule or cancel your session with Natalie Jeans Photography, please reschedule at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 24 hours of booking will receive a full refund, any cancellation 8 days or more from the session, will receive a partial refund. Any cancellation 7 days or less will not receive a refund.
Natalie Jeans Photography automatically edits and retouches all portraits. I focus on skin enhancements and making you look as polished as possible. What is not included in my editing and retouching are all things outside of skin enhancements, such as: changing the color of clothing, painting nails, making you look skinnier, fixing a missing tooth, removing socks, fixing the lace on your wig, etc. All of these things are possible, but are not included in the price. These type of changes require a lot more work and time, so there will be an additional charge, if these things are needed. Therefore, please come fully prepared for your session.
Natalie Jeans Photography does not participate in service for service exchanges. For example, I cannot take your portraits for free in exchange for you to post the portraits on your page for “exposure”. Another example, I cannot take your portraits for free in exchange for a free t-shirt or logo design.
Natalie Jeans Photography does not negotiate or match other photographers prices. My prices are not only set, but also extremely reasonable for the services that I provide.
Natalie Jeans Photography does not accept payments via cash or check. I offer several payment options, such as Zelle, CashApp and Paypal.
Natalie Jeans Photography does not release raw or unedited images. Why? I have had clients post both their retouched and unedited images and it appears as if I cut corners on some of the images, when really they were never edited. In short, I put a great deal of time into my craft... This includes editing, retouching and polishing your images. The raw or unedited images only tell a portion of the story and do not reflect my work.
No pets are allowed in the studio unless they are included in the session. If included in the session, all pets must be house trained. If there are any accidents, the owners are responsible for cleanup. Pets are not allowed to roam around the studio. Clients must inform me if there is a plan to include a pet in any portraits. Natalie Jeans Photography does not photograph cats or reptiles.
I have two small children of my own and have photographed tons of children over the years. I love children and want them to have fun, but the studio is not a playground. Props break and backdrops tear, so please be sure that any children included in your session are seated and not roaming around the studio, when they are not being photographed.
If the child/children are under the age of 8 and are not being photographed another adult should be present for supervision.
This is for the safety of the child and consideration for all studio furniture and equipment.
Yes! Props are so much fun! However, some props can get a little messy. Therefore, if you plan on bringing props to your session, please let me know when you book your session. Example confetti, balloons, glitter, etc.
Please be advised that if your prop requires cleanup, an additional $25 cleanup fee will be added to your session.
If you selected a package with 1 outfit, please only bring 1 outfit. Each additional outfit change will be an extra $25.
Yes! During the consultation, I will go over all details including the color of the backdrop that will be used. Setting up the backdrop takes time, so if there are major changes, such as your outfit, I need to know because it could mean that I need to change the backdrop. Please let me know of these changes at least 48 hours before your session.
Please be advised that if you arrive to your session and the backdrop needs to be changed, there will be an additional $25 fee.
Yes! If you have inspo images, I need to see them to ensure I am able to bring your vision to life. Some people want a spotlight or fog, etc. I need to know all of these things, so that I am prepared.
Poses: This goes for poses as well, if there are specific poses that you would like to try during your session, please send them to me.
I need all inspo images 1 week before your photoshoot.
All studio sessions include one backdrop color that is predetermined during your consultation. If you book a session that includes more than one outfit and would like to have a second backdrop, I am happy to do so, but there is an additional $25 fee.
Yes, if my schedule permits! You will be charged a $50 same-day portrait fee plus the price of the package that you select.
Corporate Headshots & Branding
There is a 3-5 business day turnaround on Corporate Headshots and a 7 business day turnaround on Branding portraits. If you wish to have a rush delivery (24-48 hours), there is an additional $30 rush fee.
Specialty: Birthday, Graduation, Concert, Party, etc.
There is a 1-2 week turnaround.
Wedding & Engagement
There is a 4-6 week turnaround on Wedding portraits and a 2-3 week turnaround on Engagement portraits.
All images are delivered via email through a dropbox link, where you will be able to download your images.
The link to your images is only valid for 30 days. I suggest you download all of your images as soon as possible and save them to your computer.
If you have a 30 minute session scheduled for 3:00PM, your session is scheduled to end at 3:30PM. If you are late, your session will still end at 3:30PM and will not be extended. I typically schedule a 30 minute break in between sessions, so if you would like to purchase an additional 15 minutes, there is an additional $30 fee.
There is an additional $30 fee for every 15 minutes. Example: An extra 30 minutes will be an additional $60.
Please be advised that all images are uploaded to Dropbox with high resolution image quality. The image quality will not change when you download to your phone or computer. However, the quality of the image will change when you are uploading your images to social media and other platforms. Below are my personal ratings of each platforms image quality.
ANDROID upload to Instagram
When uploading images to Instagram from an android, the platform will sometimes change the color grading of the image. It will appear as though you have added a faded or darker filter to your image. There is no solution to this issue, that I am aware of. If you have an Apple device and wish to post to Instagram, that is the only alternative that I am aware of that allows you to maintain the correct image color and tone.
Unfortunately, there is nothing that I am able to do on my end to resolve any of the above mentioned issues. All alterations to images are controlled by each platform. Again, these are beyond my control.
In some cases, my clients will select their own location. When you select your own location, depending on where it is, I will go out the day before or an hour before the session to identify the best spots for your portraits. It is extremely important to let me know 48 hours in advance if there is a "special tree" or specific area that you have in mind for your portraits, so that I can plan accordingly.
If I identify the location, please know that I have put in a lot of time scouting the perfect location and planning for shots in certain areas. I need you to trust that I have identified these spots for a reason because that is the case. I select the best spots with the best lighting, background scenery, etc. I also adjust the settings on my camera to render the best photographs for these exact spots, before you arrive.
Please be advised that if there are any changes, at your request, to moving to a different area once we arrive to the location, there will be an additional $25 fee because I will need to make the necessary adjustments for the new area, regardless of how near or far the area might be.
"That would be a good place for pictures"... Please be advised that if we are walking to one of my pre-planned spots/areas and we pass a cool building or wall and you say "that would be a good place for pictures" and you wish to stop, just know that I will take the pictures, but there will be a $25 fee added to your session.
Session Time: Please be advised that there will not be more time added to your session and your session will still end at the previously scheduled time, unless you pay $30 per additional 15 minutes.
I know all of the above seems like it is a bit much, but I have been too flexible on this in the past, therefore causing all of my planning and preparation to be in vain. It has also impacted the session time and caused sessions to go over due to stopping at unplanned areas. Most importantly, the end results have proven to be less flattering and/or poorly lit images that are not a true reflection of my work.
Think of it this way, would you go to your doctor's office and tell them what you think is best for your treatment?...probably not. You pay your doctor because they are the professional, the expert. I ask you to keep the same in mind when you hire me. I ask that you trust me to do my job as your photographer.
